Dear John,
I’ve decided to see it on Friday. At 10:15am. By myself. Because I am almost 100% sure I will cry. And I would prefer to cry to an almost empty theater, and by myself. :)
Maybe I’ll see Valentine’s Day right after? Hmm.
Have I told you very much I am looking forward to this weekend?
Not only do I no longer have class on Friday, but this particular Friday, the band is leaving to SoCal around 7am and not returning until Tuesday evening. Along with that, my parents will be driving down Friday afternoon to SLO to attend the concert that the band is putting on in SLO’s gorgeous theater and will be gone until Sunday evening.
You’d think this would be a seemingly bad thing, right- me stuck at home ALONE on Valentine’s Day?
Well, it’s not going to be so bad.
My Friday and hopefully Saturday are completely filled up!
In addition to seeing Dear John during the day on Friday, I will be visiting my grandmother and then going to a 2.5 hour rehearsal, which I couldn’t be more thrilled for- finally get to see/work on Spelling Bee! It’s been too long!!
After rehearsal I will be coming to an empty house, but not for long since the girls will be coming over to gossip, share advice, and cook! We haven’t all been together since the first of the year and we are way overdue for a catch up!
And on Saturday, Sierra and I will venture to Monterey, hopefully with a few other tag alongs! I am very excited for this because I feel like I’m FINALLY starting to make some actual lasting friendships at CMT. I mean, don’t get me wrong- I’ve already made some really good friendships while doing shows at CMT, but the only time I’ve ever hung out with any of them outside of rehearsals/going to lunch downtown between shows is when I invited a few of them over to my house for my birthday and a last minute party for that holiday in August (I can never remember if it’s labor day or memorial day.. I’m thinking Labor day. haha). But we’ve never hung out other than that, and so I feel like hanging out with these brand new friends outside of rehearsal/school/birthdays will definitely establish some bonds that I feel are way overdue (yes, I’ve used that word twice in one blog. sue me).
Sunday I don’t have any plans, but hopefully Cathy’s plans with David won’t begin until the afternoon so we can go to lunch at the vietnamese place I want to try :) Maybe Erin and Dre will be free to come along to that too. You can never have enough girl time!
I can’t wait for Friday! And I am so happy tomorrow is Wednesday! Musical Theater Appreciation with the MOST flamingly gay teacher ever! LOVE IT!!
(if i remember to charge the battery) I will DEFINITELY be taking pictures this weekend! Which I haven’t done since.. San Diego! Jeeze! OVERDUE (3rd times a charm)!
